A few things to know.

Does VerseTime download or cut YouTube songs?

No. YouTube videos play in the official embedded player. VerseTime stores timestamps, not copies of the music, and does not export media.

Why won't a YouTube video play?

Some videos disable embedding or have age, region or availability restrictions. Ad blockers and browser privacy settings can also prevent playback. Try another available video, or use a local file you are permitted to use.

How precise is the timer?

You can adjust markers in 0.1-second increments. Playback and stopping precision depend on the source, buffering and browser. YouTube seeking is approximate; this is a planning tool, not a sample-accurate audio editor. Keep this tab visible while previewing.

Where are my files and saved segments?

Local media stays on your device. Saved timestamps and notes are stored in this browser, not synced between devices. Clearing browser data removes them. Export your notes for a backup. Local files need to be selected again when you reopen a saved segment.

Can I use the same timing in Instagram or TikTok?

Use the same recording and version of the song. Platform versions can have different intros or edits. Check the timing again there, and follow the platform's music licensing rules.
